 y\\nOrganized by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation\, the Baldy Hill C
 limb is an annual Sun Valley tradition bringing together hundreds of partic
 ipants to hike or race to the top of Warm Springs in a 3\,140 ft vertical c
 limb in 1.86 miles. The Baldy Hill Climb helps raise funds in support of th
 e SVSEF Cross Country Teams.\\n\\nThe BHC includes the KinderClimb for kids
  11 and younger competing on a 300 vertical feet course\, and both a Hiking
  Class and Racing Class to the top of Baldy with a free ride down on the Ch
 allenger lift!\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nThere are a variety of
  registration categories:\\n\\nRace Class: The original competitive and tim
 ed option for those looking to challenge themselves to push for their best 
 pace. This category will be presented with awards (and bragging rights!).\\
 n\\nFor those who are in less of a hurry\, you can register in the Hike Cla
 ss which is a timed\, non-competitive category emphasizing fun and adventur
 e.\\n\\nFamilies are also encouraged to join in the fun by registering for 
 the Family Team category. To compete in this category\, you must have a min
 imum of three (3) family members all signed up for the Race Class category.
  The award for the fastest family will be presented to those with the lowes
 t cumulative times for the quickest three family members.\\n\\nYouth partic
 ipants (8-ish and younger) are encouraged to scramble up a 200yd climb as p
 art of the FREE Kinderclimb! No advance registration is needed for this eve
 nt which typically takes future Baldy Hill Climb runners 8-12 minutes to co
 mplete. "Race" begins at 8:30 a.m.!\\n\\nImportant notes:\\nNo same day reg
 istration (except Kinderclimb)\\nAll Participants must sign the online Sun 
 Valley Waiver\\nNo Dogs are allowed in the Baldy Hill Climb\\nNo babies or 
 toddlers are allowed in backpack-style carriers in the Baldy Hill Climb.\\n

 es to go head-to-head in a race for glory\, bragging rights\, and the covet
 ed Community Cup trophy to be displayed at your business until the 2027 BHC
 ! Rally your coworkers\, lace up your shoes\, and take on Baldy—the three
  fastest race-class times from each business team will be combined to crown
  the 2026 Community Cup Champion. Grab your crew and see how your business 
 stacks up!\\n\\n 	Team members must be employed by the business to enter as
  part of a Baldy Hill Climb Community Cup team.\\n 	The fastest 3 times fro
 m each business team will be totaled to award the Baldy Hill Climb Communit
 y Cup.\\n 	All Baldy Hill Climb Community Cup participants must compete in 
 the race class for their times to count towards the Community Cup.\\n 	Busi
