SUMMARY:Community Library Field Trip: Minidoka and the Herrett Center
DESCRIPTION:In the first of three summer Field Trips exploring Southern Ida
 ho with The Community Library and Wood River Museum of History + Culture\, 
 we'll be visiting Minidoka National Historic Site and the Herrett Center in
  Twin Falls. These Field Trips are designed to give attendees a chance to d
 ig deeper into the regional history in Southern Idaho.\\n\\nLeaving at 7:30
 am on Saturday\, June 28\, we will take a small passenger van (seating for 
 14) to the Minidoka site for a guided tour with one of their docents. Follo
 wing the tour and visit (2 hours)\, we'll stop for a brown bag lunch (bring
  your own lunch!!) and then we'll head for the Herrett Center at the Colleg
 e of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. The Herrett Center encompasses natural h
 istory\, Idaho history\, a planetarium and more. We will be back to Ketchum
  by 5pm. For this Field Trip we are asking for a suggested donation of $10 
 per person to help defray costs\, thanks! Donation may be made on the day o
