SUMMARY:Jazz in the Park – Nicole Christensen Band
DESCRIPTION:Ketchum’s popular free summer concert series\, “Jazz In The
  Park”\, returns on June 22nd and every Sunday through July.  Come enj
 oy your picnic on the lawn beside the Wood River in Rotary Park with Idaho�
 ��s best “easy listening” jazz bands playing renditions from “The Gre
 at American Songbook”\, and more.\\n\\nFeatured this summer are four band
 s with women lead singers. New this year is Michele Eastland & Menagerie\, 
 also Katie G. & the Half Maccs with an evening of Brazilian jazz\, “Music
 a Brasileira”.  Returning are Boise’s Ashley Rose band\, and a valley
  favorite the Nicole Christensen band. The first concert brings Ketchum sin
 ger Travis McDaniel’s group including guest artists\, while the last Sund
 ay features more latin stylings with the very rhythmic Bossa Nova Quintet.\
 \n\\nAll concerts are from 6 to 8 pm in Rotary Park across from the YMCA on
  Warm Springs Road.  Bring picnics and only low back chairs.  This 23rd
  year of the City of Ketchum sponsored event has major funding by local in
 dividual donors\, and  concert production donated by Will Caldwell Produc
 tions.\\n2025 Schedule:\\n\\n 	June 22 – Travis McDaniel Band: Travis is 
 a WR Valley and Sun Valley Resort favorite musician playing guitar and sing
 ing soulful neo-jazz tunes.  Joining Travis and his band will be special 
 guest artists.\\n 	 June 29 – Michele Eastland & Menagerie: A Boise vete
 ran performer\, Michele has a powerful voice and vocal range\, delivering c
 ompelling renditions of classic jazz standards.\\n 	 July 6 – Katie G & 
 The Half Maccs:  Katie\, a Boise native\, brings a special show of classi
 c Brazilian jazz full of samba rhythms\, bossa guitar\, and her smooth voca
 ls.\\n 	 July 13 – Ashley Rose Band: Creative and expressive vocalist a
 nd songwriter Ashley brings a jazz and soul-infused Americana project out o
 f Boise.\\n 	 July 20 – Nicole Christensen Band: A longtime valley favo
 rite from up the Salmon River\, vocalist Nicole and her partner Ben Burdick
  on guitar\, plus their band\, are always a crowd pleaser.\\n 	 July 27 �
 � Bossa Nova Quintet:  From Boulder and Ketchum\, anchored by Latin hand
