 unusually low temperatures throughout the weekend\, we have made the diffic
 ult decision to cancel the Ballet Sun Valley Festival performances schedule
 d for Saturday and Sunday.\\nThis decision was reached in close collaborati
 on with Pacific Northwest Ballet and our artistic and production teams. Ult
 imately\, the forecasted conditions do not allow the artists to perform saf
 ely and in accordance with the professional standards and union guidelines 
 that protect their health and wellbeing.\\nWe know this news is disappointi
 ng. While outdoor performances are one of the unique joys of the Ballet Sun
  Valley Festival\, they also come with circumstances beyond anyone’s cont
 rol. The artists\, staff\, volunteers\, and Board have dedicated countless 
 hours to preparing for this weekend.\\nWhile weather-related cancellations 
 are rare\, they are an inherent risk of presenting world-class ballet in on
 e of the country's most extraordinary outdoor settings. The safety of the a
 rtists\, the integrity of the performances\, and audience experience remain
