The Wood River Orchestra was formed in 2007 to provide opportunities for local musicians of all ages and abilities to perform orchestral music. The group performs 3 to 4 concerts each year–all of which are free to the public–as well as several informal concerts and special events. The Wood River Orchestra is a nonprofit organization supported solely through donations and grants. The orchestra is led by conductor Brad Hershey, and there are currently 25-30 core musicians who play in the orchestra. Please contact us at [email protected] if you’d like to participate!
