Sun Valley Half Marathon | June 4th

    • Based on the film about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s eccentric aunt and cousin

Sun Valley Center Arts & Crafts Festival | August 12th – 14th

  • Enjoy this outdoor juried fine arts and crafts show
  • This popular community event also includes artists’ demonstrations, live music, food vendors and a children’s activity area

Standhope Ultra Challenge | August 18th – 20th

  •  A three-day event featuring the White Knob Mountains and the Copper Basin
  • 60K and 25K routes
  • This is not a beginner-level ultra. The race peaks out at 11,000 feet over rough terrain and passes along the shores of Goat Lake, the highest lake in Idaho

Killebrew-Thompson Benefit Concert featuring Foreigner | August 20th

  • Sing along with all of your favorites including “Juke Box Hero”, “I Want to Know What Love Is”, “Hot Blooded” & more!

Wagon Days Festival & Parade | September 1st – 5th

  • Join us Labor Day weekend as Ketchum celebrates the days before railroads or automobiles reached the town
  • Come to Main Street and watch the largest parade in the country without motorized vehicles (on Saturday). Basque dancers, marching bands and Western cowboys travel by horse, mule or foot
  • Enjoy a pancake breakfast in Town Square, a bareback riding demonstration, an arts and crafts festival, and an antique fair. Shop at our boutiques and art galleries. Go for a walk or a bike ride in the beautiful late summer sunshine

Rebecca’s Private Idaho | September 3rd & 4th

  • Borrowing from the gran fondo trend, Rebecca’s Private Idaho takes you on a long-haul gravel grinder through some of Idaho’s most scenic reaches
  • Go the distance with the Big Potato race clocking 94 miles or take a bit more relaxed approach with the Small Fry serving up 56 miles

Ernest Hemingway Festival | September 8th – 10th

  • Explore Hemingway’s sense of place in the natural world
  • The lectures, discussions, and presentations of this year’s Hemingway Festival promise to stimulate deep thinking about the role of nature in Hemingway’s works, as well as providing a deeper connection to the nature that Hemingway knew in central Idaho

Oktoberfest | September 16th – 18th

  • Come get your German on at the Valley’s largest Oktoberfest
  • Partake in some fine German style beers while you take on the festive garden games that include the Hammerschlagen, Giant Jenga, Corn Hole, Beer Pong and Mechanical Bull Rides!

Wood River Valley Harvestfest | September 17th

  • Relish in this unique opportunity for visitors and local residents to experience a locally sourced, food-centric event that highlights the quality and availability of local products

Baldy Hill Climb | September 24th

  • The running, hiking and biking challenge offers “One Big Mountain, Five Awesome Events”
  • The course for runners and hikers spans 1.86 miles and 3,140 vertical feet from the bottom of Warm Springs to the summit of Bald Mountain at 9,020 feet

Trailing of the Sheep Festival | October 6th – 9th

  • The Festival preserves the stories and colorful history of sheep ranchers and herders, celebrates the rich cultures of the past and present and entertains and educates children, adults and families about the production of local food and fiber that sustain local economies and generations of hard-working families
  • Named one of the top festivals in the North America by a number of publications

Sun Valley Jazz & Music Festival | October 19th – 23rd
