Sawtooth Gelande Quaffing Championships | April 17

What is Gelande Quaffing you ask? We’re going to leave it to the video above to give you some insight. The long & short of it involves sliding a mug of beer down a slippery surface to a partner on the other end who must ultimately catch said beer once it has left the edge of the table, mid-air, and proceed to drink that beer. This may seem a little aggressive to some but we can assure you that the spectating is highly entertaining for those not willing to partake. Festivities take place in front of Apple’s Bar & Grill on the Warm Springs side of the hill.

Oh yeah, and it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds will go to the Sawtooth Avalanche Center. Start practicing your spin moves, dig out your best costumes and get ready for a rowdy good time.

Ketchum Wide Open | May 21

Ketchum Wide Open is back! Come check out this fun event hosted during slack season. You’ll have a great time and meet new people all while raising money for a good cause. Each golfer can either have a drink or donate the price of that drink to this year’s Charity to lower their score by ONE…no more, no less!

Awards for Traveled Furthest, Youngest, Oldest, Best Costume, Best Hole and ‘Golden Putter’ for the lowest of 7 holes.
